Our cuisine is of the highest class, thanks to the skills of our chef, Mervyn Revell who, as a partner in our company, has personal interest in ensuring that you eat only the best.

Our main style of cooking is traditionally English but chef Mervyn and his kitchen staff are equally at home adding a French piece de resistance, a dash of curry or any other style you might wish to nominate. All you have to do is ask!


  Diet Styles, dining and special diets
We are well aware that many of our clients have guests or colleagues who have to watch their diet in one way or another. Whether it be a case of the group not liking, for example, fish or tomato soup, people who are diabetic or on special medical diets, or customers who must respect religious demands, we can take it all in our stride. Just mention your special needs and we will do the rest.

Where do we begin? Mervyn, our chef, naturally has his own specialities but at Mount Avenue we put our clients first. What you ask for is what you get. If you are unsure of the most appropriate choice for your event, just ask. We are proud of the fact that Mount Avenue is the (best) silver-service banqueting suite serving Essex and East London.

All our waiting staff are trained individually by our management in the practise of silver service, a profession otherwise found in only the best hotels and resturants. You can be assured of pleasant, polite and good-humoured service by smartly-uniformed waiters and waitresses, all rigorously selected for their aptitude and desire to assist in making your occasion a huge success.
